Hope May VSC filers can get GC by the end of 2011 !!!

I think VSC will start to approve application for May 2011 filler on JANUARY 2012.

December 2011 month is only for April 2011 filler because on 11/05/11

For April 2011 filler for Vermont Service Center only 13 % approved and thus 87% are waiting to approve.

I guess the delay does not cause me too much harm as long it is completed by March 2012 as that is when I can apply for citizenship. I don't really want to have to submit my N400 before my removal of conditions is complete, like to keep everything straight forward.

Quick question for the experts here on Citizenship, am I correct in thinking that as I had my fingerprints taken in August for my I751 I will not have them taken again for my N400 as it will of been within a year ?

Agreed! I wish it wasn't the case. We may see few May approvals in Dec or towards the end.

Add 196 days to NOA1 for best case ( for NoA1 5/30/11 best case Approval date 12/12/2011)

Add 222 days to NOA1 for Current Avg ( for NoA1 5/30/11 Most Likely Approval date 01/07/2012)

Add 249 days to NOA1 for Max Without Interview :( ( for NoA1 5/30/11 Max case Approval date 02/03/2012)

After that, mostly likely it's either background check issue or waitting for Interview date.

This analsis is based on current approvals, April 15 2011 was latest approval I have seen.

I-751 - VSC

05-27-2011 Application submitted

05-28-2011 VSC Relieved

05-30-2011 NOA1

06-07-2011 Bio Letter

06-21-2011 Early Bio on 06-17-2011

We just received RFE today dated october 14. Can someone add this to the new list please? They are requiring more evidence.We really have sent all we could in. Since the start of this process his Liscense has expired and has been issued a new one. Maybe thats the reason?

So what else did you send to them as additional evidences?

I just wanted to check in to see what is going on. It seems like VSC is not processing anything.

may be early February for us.

For what it's worth, I applied February 4th to Vermont and I am still waiting. Don't mean to drag anyone down however, since it seems there is no logic when it comes to the order in which cases are processed (there are already some April filers approved at Vermont). It seems some filing periods are just "lost in time" (end up in a bad batch with a lazy/sick officer?) while others both before and after are approved - seems early February is one of them. It's pretty ridiculous but I guess all we can do is wait.

I just wanted to say that your username made me laugh out loud, so thank you for that. laughing.gif It's frustrating, to be sure, but I like to think that they're prioritizing cases for couples trapped in different countries. It's annoying that they're falling so short of the expectations set for VSC, but at least we get to spend the meantime together as couples, rather than wondering when we'll get to see each other again...

(of course, i have no way of knowing that that's true at all, it just helps me stay sane...)

There is one approval for our September 2011 thread, which makes me thing that these approvals depend on how easy and straight forward a background check is, the simplicity of the file itself, how busy the uscis worker is and how many files one can handle with rapidity, are they studious or not, do they take time off often, the number of people lined up for approval in the region, does the system go down often, is there a low budget and they are laid off ... etc...

On the same token, perhaps the delay is a strategic one, to see how long the couple can last together. If they have not received the green card after 7 months under the guise that the uscis takes that long to approve and the couple break up then there is a chance they are not able to apply for citizenship.

Anything is possible.

We met, we fell in love, we married, we live as one! And that's the way love goes...:)
