So we moved and I was panicky about the address change and what if I missed the letter and even if I did the whole forwarding my mail process.... but I guess nobody is getting approved in Vermont yet, huh! I did the electronic change of address.

Not sure I have to mail anything, do I? :wacko:

Don't worry about change of address!

We also moved and I filed the change of address online and then I mailed the change of address form for my husband (sponsor).

You're probably just wasting your time, unfortunately!

I'm sorry you're still waiting. However, you're not alone amongst the CSC filers! Do you have your Biometrics receipt number so you can check your status online? :)

There's a few ways to look at it when more than two thirds of your fellow filers at the CSC have already received their approval:

- VSC filers are really really worse off...

- We're not last at CSC... yet!

We've been waiting too, and nothing. But then our entire journey has been less than easy from the very beginning and we're always placed at the end of the pile... and maybe this time they sent our file to Vermont :)

Anyway, Angela has her one-year extension, and then we're busy with our baby so we don't care if the extension will be approved next May.

Our Timeline below - CA Service Center - Consulate: Rio de Janeiro - Local Office: San Jose, CA

October 5, 2006: We meet for the first time!

March 8, 2008: I-129F K1-Fiancee Visa Application mailed

October 27, 2008: K1 VISA RECEIVED !! (233 days - 7 MONTHS 19 DAYS)

January 17, 2009: Entry - POE: JFK w/EAD (315 days)

February 6, 2009: WEDDING! (335 days)

March 24, 2009: Sent AOS, EAD, AP package to Chicago Lock box (381 days - 1 YEAR 16 DAYS)

June 30, 2009: Interview in San Jose, CA (479 days) - NOT approved, Sworn statement required

AUGUST 14, 2009: GREEN CARD IN HAND (524 days - 1 YEAR 5 MONTHS 6 DAYS)

May 31, 2011: Sent I-751 Removal of Conditions package (1179 days - 3 YEARS 2 MONTHS 23 DAYS)

January 25, 2012: 10-Year Green Card Received (1418 days - 3 YEARS 10 MONTHS 17 DAYS)

sign up for email/text notifications on the USCIS site

keep track of the current processing times for you processing center

After 4 years of Guest Visitor to VJ, I finally decided to join for multiple reasons.

1. VJ information helped me to stay claim in messing immigration process, just wanted to share so others can stay bit peaceful, when waiting … endlessly.

2. VSC is insanely slow :crying: (for I-751)

3. VJ I-751 Time processing stats for VSC seems to be bit off since November. It’s stating currently processing May 09, 2011 (177 days from NOA1). On October 30 it was showing April 3 or It jumped a month on November 1st.

I believe it’s should be somewhere mid-April. (4/14 to 4/20 based on my calculations, I collected data from other sites as well).

4. Many members here are very helpful to many newbies, you guys are really great! Thank you so much, indeed.

So this month is our "6 month" mark... since USCIS have changed the timeframe on their website from 6 months to 24th Feb 2011... can we still call them at the 6 month date and put in a service request?? (Though i wonder if a service request would even help!!)....

02/22/17... NOA2 for Mom received (Notice Date 02/15/17)

02/28/17... NOA2 for Dad received (Notice Date 02/17/17)

03/01/17... Status online shows application sent to NVC 

03/17/17... Received emails from NVC for next steps!

03/21/17... Went online to Choose an Agent

03/28/17... Received emails from NVC confirming Agent selection and to proceed with the next step (paying fees!)

04/05/17... Paid the $120 Immigrant Visa Application Processing Fee online today (Also eligible to pay the $325 Fee but will wait before doing so...)

April-August... Took a break from the process in order to move back from USVI to mainland USA.

08/07/17... Paid the IV Fees for both my parents ($325 each) today

08/23/17... Called NVC because payment still showing "In Process", was advised to email proof of payment to have them manually correct it

08/24/17... CEAC website shows "Paid" and can now have parents' DS-260 forms filled in.

So this month is our "6 month" mark... since USCIS have changed the timeframe on their website from 6 months to 24th Feb 2011... can we still call them at the 6 month date and put in a service request?? (Though i wonder if a service request would even help!!)....

Can't hurt to try! So frustrating though, as we booked flights to visit Honduras next month, thinking all this would be straightened out by then. It's always hard enough to get back into the states without an expired green card/extension letter, so I'm expecting even more fun this time...

05-14-2011 - day 1 - RoC package received by VSC

05-19-2011 - day 6 - RoC check cashed

05-21-2011 - day 8 - NOA arrived in mail

06-20-2011 - day 38 - called NCSC to ask about appointment

06-25-2011 - day 43 - received biometrics appointment (dated 6/21, scheduled 7/19)

07-19-2011 - day 67 - biometrics appointment, no issues

01-19-2012 - day 220 - ROC approved!
