We just received RFE today dated october 14. Can someone add this to the new list please? They are requiring more evidence.We really have sent all we could in. Since the start of this process his Liscense has expired and has been issued a new one. Maybe thats the reason?

I am sorry to hear that! We had a 6/20 biometric date too...I was hoping that we were just down at the bottom of the pile for the week of 6/20 since a few people with biometric dates after us had been approved. So it looks like we'll be getting an RFE as well. We're preparing for the worst, but hoping for the best.

We basically sent everything they asked on the list that we could, bank statements, bill, tax info, utilities part in my name and some in his. Credit cards, not joint cause they dont do that, but we each have a card from each others account. Affidavits. Bank state ments do show the bills are paid from our account. We really sent everything. For reference, this is what we included in our I-751 package:

• I-751 Application Form filled and singed by the both of us + the check.
• Front and back copy of Tina's permanent resident card.
• Copy of our drivers license and Shon's most current car registration.
• Copy of Tina's work information.
• Four sworn affidavits by U.S. citizen friends, attesting to our relationship and marriage.
• Copy of our 2009 and 2010 W-2 forms.
• Copy of our joint American Express credit card statements, joint ING savings and checking, Bank of America and Citibank statements.
• Copy of our apartment lease renewal contract and Renter's insurance.
• Copy our joint medical insurance and medical summaries.
• Copies of joint auto insurance.
• Copies of our utility bills and cell phone statements.

• Copy of our airline reservations for a vacation back to Taiwan in November of 2010.
• Copy of letters addressed to both of us from friends and families.
• Photos of us with friends and family at events.

Okay, the financial side seems pretty well covered. Just to check, did you file taxes married jointly? Did you provide all of your tax returns?

I didn't have the 'official' tax transcripts - just what I had printed off online - but I also included bank statements with the refunds we received highlighted, to show they matched what was on the tax forms.

It doesn't seem as if there's as much evidence to cover living arrangements. Utility bills aren't always very useful. If you don't have a lease/joint mortgage, is there anything you can provide (letter from landlord, for example) that explains how you do live together?

No joint medical/life/car/renters insurance?

What we sent:

Lease

Tax returns

Bank statements from joint account

Medical/dental/vision insurance cards/letters

Renters' insurance

As you can see, it wasn't THAT much, but it covered the most important things.

We sent copy of mortgage statement, but the mortgage is in my name, but, it also shows its paid from our joint account. Sent the car insurances, was thinking of sending copies of our registrations which is still separate for each car.

Paying from a joint account does sound good. Did you highlight the amounts and also explain in a letter? I know sometimes that can help.

I mention highlighting because I've seen in threads before where people have sent perfectly legitimate forms/evidence, and the immigration officer completely missed the signature/what should have been obvious information. Never hurts to try!

OMG! my application date is the same as yours and yet I don't have any update/no RFE (I hope none at all)
