I just got my bio letter scheduled for 6/28; I plan to go there walk-in on 6/16. Is it ok, right?

It's certainly worth a try!

Had my appointment today. I don't understand why they schedule 20-30 people at once! I filled out my form as soon as possible and was first in line, thank goodness!

...then I held everyone else up, because my fingers REALLY don't like the scanners! I think the guy had to scan each finger 2-3 times, and I saw that both ring fingers just failed to take. I really hope I don't have a second appointment (I did for AOS!).

Has anyone in Brooklyn done early bio walk-in before?

Early bio will expedite the process? I bet it will not hurt.

I did my bio today at Tampa, appt was 11:30 we were there 1 hour earlier and got everything done in 20 min :)

now the long wait :whistle: ...October maybe until I hear back ZzzzzZz

I also had my biometrics at Tampa yesterday and was suprised how quiet they where got there about 45min early, and was out a good 30 min before my appoinment time. I was the only person in there at the time for biometrics, big diference from, last time It took about an hour because so many people were in there. :)

Finally got my appointment letter on the weekend - NOA1 was May 5th, biometrics appointment letter was dated June 13th for an appointment on July 11th! Sheesh, I feel neglected!

I'll be trying an early walk-in. I live 2 hours away from Portland and am dropping someone off at the airport two days before my appointment, so fingers crossed they won't force me to make the journey again!!

Just called NCSC to figure out what happened to our biometrics appointment...it's been 5 weeks since our application was received!

The good news is that they didn't have me on hold for a million hours like I'd expected.

The bad news is that they won't give me information about the case until I call back with my husband present...even though we're filing jointly.

At least they'll take calls until 8pm! I guess we can try again after work.

Once 30 days has elapsed you can raise a service request. They'll probably just tell you your local office is being slow and that you'll be allocated an appointment when one becomes available but I would call anyway. :)

We called today. Just under the 30 days. We were told to call back at 30 days which is later this week. But they did transfer our call to someone who could at least say a letter had not been sent out. total time of the call was 15 minutes.
