some centers allow it , some don't,if you don't live to far away and want to take a chance, go in the mid week early in the am . when not to busy, bring your appointment letter, your picture ID, passport or driver license, permanent resident card, good luck.

It depends on the office, and which security guard is working that day. Afternoons seem to be best for our office which is less than ten miles away from us. Stop by, ready to go, when they have nobody waiting for an appointment, and if you can charm the guard, you are good to go.
