RFE

Hello VJers,

Here is my situation. Back in August when I sent the petition for my fiancee's K1-visa, I did a big mistake in the letter of intend. Maybe the person who reviewed my document did not notice it or maybe ignored it?.

I wrote her letter of intend and sent it to her via email. She then sent it back to me signed together with the rest of documents I needed from her.

When it as time to write my letter of intend, I "cut and paste" hers and changed her name to my name. I left the content unchanged. In other word. It reads "..... I will get married with (name here) no later than 90 days after my arrival to USA...." -- Remember, I am the petitioner living in USA.

I found out about that I after I received our NOA2 and was getting ready to send her some documents that she needed from me.

Oh well luckily we did not get an RFE on that.

Hm, doesn't seem like a big enough deal to cause an RFE. If it was, you got lucky.

I thought it was an RFE. But oh well, maybe I got lucky.
