Anyone know what year VJ was started? So grateful this site exists, glad to come back and post even though we're all done with immigration now.

The first members are listed as joining in April, 2003 so I assume it is around that time.

VJ was launched originally in (roughly) Feb 2003 as the "INS Forums", then changed in March (I think) to "BCIS Forums", then after that to VisaJourney in Nov 2003.

June 26, 2012 - The Hubbs received his 10-year Permanent Residency Card (aka THE Greencard) in the mail today!




At long last, this highly stressful leg of our journey has come to a close - for now - and we couldn't be more grateful and appreciative for all the tremendous help and support here on VJ! Without VisaJourney I doubt we would be where my husband and I are today! Thanks to all!

Ewok needs to take his hands off the 'go slow' button already.

I see people complaining all the time about how long the process takes but it wasn't really that long...in regards to our CR1 visa. People need more patience.
