I've received a citizenship interview appointment letter. I'm supposed to go to the USCIS main building on Sonsome street in San Francisco. The letter says nothing about cell phone. But I know a few years back when I was working near the office, many people came to a coffee shop that kept cell phones for a hefty fees ($10?).

Because I commute by train and I go to office after the interview, I'd like to bring in my cell phone and my work laptop, if possible.

I had a green card biometric appointment recently at their Oakland Support Center. There, the appointment letter says no cell phones, but they aren't really enforcing it. They just asked people to turn off the phones.
