Yup both. Then when its closer to the interview time, the USC needs to write a new one and send it, along with the other documents needed, to the beneficiary for the interview.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

Yea Montreal requests a second updated letter thats worded a little differently from the first one. My interviewer actually compared both letters and read them both out loud at my interview.

Uh oh, now I'm worried! I have an updated letter of intent, but it's basically the same thing my original one said. The only thing that's different is that the date's close to my interview.

I think the requirement for the 2nd letter of intent is that it has to be signed within 30 days of the interview. They did't compare the ones I provided.

Here's a sample for those who might need one :

Excellent, that's almost exactly what mine says. Thank you!

Does Montreal require one from me as well, or just my fiance?

I had both mine and my fiance's ready but they only asked for his letter. They had me sign a form which says that you will marry your fiance within 90 days of your arrival so they don't need the applicant's.

That was what I assumed. You obviously have to sign a form, but the actual letter of intent they need from the USC.

All of the earlier posts had me very confused, my lawyer only asked my Fiancé to (when the time comes) sign the letter of intent.
