That would be great, seeing 2006 this October. I hope we see 2006 before 2012 ends or at least in January.

I'm nervous though, wondering if things will slow down after reaching Feb 2006 or if we will run out of visas before finishing 2006. I am Sept 2006.

Nevermindz...it depends upon total no. of applicants waiting for Visa....if applicants r less then we could see a big jump and if more than slow movement...

For eg., i thought there r not too many applicants with Aug -Sep 2005 PD and this week Mumbai consulate posted list for Sep Appointments, there were 27 F1 Applicants....

In our thread there r 4 guys till Dec 2005 and then myself in Jan and 2 other guys with Jan 2006 PD....But there may be lot more whom we dont know or r not members of our forum...Thats why its difficult to predict...But i just hope to be optimistic now and i wish this New Fiscal 2013 moves much faster....This year VB moved 17 months for F1.....Lets see how much New Fiscal moves....

But 6-8 weeks is reasonable....However it may be more or less...just wait till 27 -28 of this month...i think they will start sending I/Ls by then....

Thanks May_taurus, I'm hoping for a big jump. Let's wait until the end of the month for the interviews.

Hi Patientman

thanks for the data

Would u plz tell me What's the meaning of the word "EMPTY" FOR Republic Dominican and how did u find that for Republic Dominican?

Hi Pedram and welcome.

Look at the Visa Bulletin for the last few years and compare.

I put empty there to fill the gap in the table, because dominican republic was no longer added in the monthly list (as of Oct 2010) or not considered filling up the "per-country limit".

If you go back to sept 2010 or earlier, you will see Dom Rep. listed there in their own little column.

Hope this helps.

Thanks vishu, Patientman and NevermindVz

I have another idea to predict next VB

Ofcourse u've seen this statistics: http://www.travel.state.gov/pdf/FY11AnnualReport-Table%20VI-Part1.pdf

In 2011 India has issued 330 visas for F1 in 2 cosoles (Mumbai and New Delhi)

and another embassy(the US ebmassy in Ankara) : Iran/2 + turkey = 294 + 14 = 308 for Ankara embassy(cause US doesnt have any embassy in Iran, applicants have to go to 2 embassies for visa (Ankara and Dubai)

If we accept this quota for 2012 and 2013 and divide it to 12 months

India should have around 330/12= 28 F1 applicants schduled for a months in these two consols. It means around 14 F1 for Mumbai and 14 F1 applicants for New Delhi

and 308/12= 26 for Ankara embassy

Now we can look at interview schedule for September 2012 in these two embassy:

Ankara: 37

Mumbai: 27

New Delhi: 27

So we can perceive that September VB moved about 2 times quicker than normal. And if we neglect newcommers from F2b who come to F1 category and after 15feb 2006 applicants, So the 2013 VB cannot move more than 9 -12 months unfortunately.

plz tell us your ideas about next VB

Hey Pedram....from where did u got Appointment schedule for New Delhi for Sep...coz they hav not posted it yet.....I just checked their web site...there is still August 2012 Appointment list .....

About Mumbai it is correct that there r 27 F1 guys for Sep 2012.....

Regarding 2011 Fiscal they say that they issued 330 visas for F1 but we must not forget that they issued 330 visas only for half fiscal...coz we had May 2004 for last 6 months w/o any movement for 2011....and i also checked Appointment list during that period ..there were hardly 6-8 cases for these months....and all this happened due to Retrogression.......Ofcourse one thing is there that F1 generally moves abt 10-12 months in a year as an average.....and i strongly believe that there r lot more applicants in 2006 year.plus some F2B getting upgraded to F1..so the movement would be slow for remaining second half of 2013.....But who knows all this is true or not...It is DOS...its impossible to predict their calculations...We just hav to wait and watch.....and Hope for the Best....

Hi may_taurus

u r right, New Delhi has not been posted september schdule yet, butby checking August 2012 for these two consoles, we can find out both Mumbai and New Delhi has 15 F1 interview in their schdules, so i gussed that Newdelhi will have around 27 F1 interviews (a little more or less)like Mumbai. Bytheway I wish that this pessimistic analyse would be wrong and we see a good movement ;)

thanks buddy for ur answer:)

That is what worries me. I really don't want to wait until fiscal year 2014. Anyway, let's see what happens in October and what the new year brings us!

I 'm not sure however i think that the visas have been allocated to each country based on the amount of petitioners in a specific region such as : India + Vietnam + another countries.

Has anyone resolved the mystery around duplicate entries in the appointment schedules?

Such as:

BMB2009753032 F1 9/12/2012 7:30

BMB2009753032 F1 9/12/2012 7:30

Again, I can see spouse and kids being included in some other categories but for F1, just doesn’t make sense. Unless the person claims he/she is divorced and tags minor kids along.

Another questions for folks here,

Looking at https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/processingTimesDisplay.do and more specificaly the California Service Center, it say (May 31, 2012):

I-130 Petition for Alien Relative Permanent resident filling for a spouse or child under 21 August 23, 2011

I-130 Petition for Alien Relative U.S. citizen filing for a spouse, parent, or child under 21 5 Months

I-130 Petition for Alien Relative U.S. citizen filing for an unmarried son or daughter over 21 January 19, 2010

I-130 Petition for Alien Relative Permanent resident filling for an unmarried son or daughter over 21 October 4, 2010

I-130 Petition for Alien Relative U.S. citizen filing for a married son or daughter over 21 June 19, 2010

I-130 Petition for Alien Relative U.S. citizen filing for a brother or sister February 11, 2010

Vermont SC says 5 months.

Does this mean if cases are approved, they are transferred to NVC and are included in the annual waiting list report that comes out in November or so (Ex, http://www.travel.state.gov/pdf/WaitingListItem.pdf ) or only cases that have been fully completed at NVC are listed in the annual waiting list?
