My PD is August 20,2004 F1

Are you F2b whose parent got citizenship recently? I can't imagine anyone with 2004 PD who couldn't complete NVC process in a year (April 2004 was current in February 2010 even though there was a first retrogression it was still a current PD in January 2011).

We are glad to see some new people here, please let us know when you receive your interview letter next month. I assume that with present VB pace your PD will be current next month :).

We would really like you to keep us informed, even after your interview ( your interview experience :) ).

Thanks

I was F2B before , my mom became a citizen in September 2010 , and i move to F1 and my cases immediately start going through , at that point most F1 with 2005 priority dates were already completed, my case actually got completed quickly but not b4 the ugly retrogression hit. :crying:

i have the same exact situation...PD is June 30 2005

Pretty sure my PD was March 23, 2005. As per my signature, I have CC'd, got my visa and have been in the USA for 1yr now *shrugs*

(I know my VJ profile says FB-1 visa, but all my paperwork had "F-1" as the visa *shrugs* )

yea u would have received because your case was completed so it would go through before the retrogression mine is june 05...but my case delayed and was completed this year so it got caught...

Out of curiosity, has anyone here been in F2A before and then "aged out" into F1 because of the slow Visa Bulletin movement? It is a prospect that I dread.

My Pd is August 20,2004 FB-1 category, case was complete sometime in January 2011 did medical in February 2011 ,my interview was march 2011.they told me at the interview that i need additional papers from my dad like his income tax returns for 2010.got those document and make a next appointment for April 2011,when i went to the interview the immigration officer took the document that i bring and told me that they could not issue me a visa because i am FB-1 and they don't has any visa for that category, and he also said that my Pd is not current, they are at May 2004 and my pd is august 20,2004.He said that when they reach my pd they will call me to bring in my passport. i also had 2 brothers that is on the same filing and their Pd is the same as mine .One of them case was Completed on mach 4,2011 and he has not get an interview date as yet ,so right now we are all here still waiting. My other brother he did interview march 30,2011 they took his passport he paid DHL they said he would get his visa in 1 week ,and ever time i call dhl they said they has not receive it ,and until now he has not received the passport back ,so i just figure out that is because they had regression the first of April 2011 and he did the interview the 30th of march 2011 . I hope that December bulletin we will be current i am tired of wating.

Oh wow that must have been so stressful Tameka !! I have a question though about the tax returns. I was wondering about mine. Did they ask for 2010 because 2009 was what u sent to nvc or it was missing altogether? The embassy couldnt answer when i asked if for my "future" interview they'll consider what nvc has "too old" because of the retrogression. Thank u for ur answer and man i feel for u it must be hard! But ure PD is close now !! Ull be there soon
