It's Oct. 5 2006. My wait is just a bit longer than yours. We just have to try somehow to not go crazy. I think our group has had the longest wait times in the history of the visa bulletin and US immigration. It's funny that we're still called "F1."

Does anyone here also travel with a non-immigrant visa? I'm planning on waiting out the last few months in the US with my family until my interview is ready.

Yes I have been visiting my family on a yearly basis. There is no timetable or schedule available to us that tells us when

our dates would be current therefore there is no guaranteed way for us say when our dates would be current.

You would be putting yourself in a tricky situation because you will run the risk of becoming out of status.

Man, I need my green card like immediately. I'm really tired of waiting, dammit. Does anyone else feel as though their life is being put on hold? Sorry for ranting, but I know this is the only place where other people would understand what I mean. Not only am I separated from my mother for 6 years now, I feel so trapped living life in a month-by-month cycle of "what's going to happen this month? Will it be closer? Yes? No?" I'm frustrated with the fact that although I know it's inevitable that a date will come, I want to make plans for what I will do in life (as a career, for example) while there and yet since I don't know when that date is, I can't even make any real plans about anything. I have to pretend as though I'm not migrating even though I will be. At least it's fortunate that I can travel there on my tourist visa for now, but it's such a tease. It's like someone dangling something in front of your face but telling you you can't have it now. But 6 years is a long damn time! I'm effing ready. GRRR!!!

Yes I do but feel worst than you. I don't have a tourist visa to get away but I keep myself busy and make my days worthwhile. It will happen soon...

I would be out of status only if I remain beyond the time allowed to me by the immigration, which I of course would not do. It would be silly to wait 6 years only to mess it up by overstaying. :-)

Well...we cannot predict how far will F1 go in next belletin. But one point just came on my mind...

Whoever has got interview letter from NVC i.e. F1, F4 and F2A members mostly their Interview dates r within 1 to 15 August...no one has got interview beyond 15 August. So maybe NVC must be scheduling Interviews within 1-15th slots. May be the rest of month's dates be still available. And remember its just 27th today we hav rest of this week and next full week for interviews to be scheduled.

Also, when cast2006 called NVC the lady told her to wait till next Bulletin. May be we can expect a good jump...Sep 1 in Aug VB...

Where are you seeing all these new interviews? The only one I still know of is the one from the vietditru forum (cantho12gio with PD July 15th 2005). If that info is correct, we are moving from July 8th to July 22nd, 14 days of movement for the moment.
