Now that we've gone through half of the fiscal year, how likely do you think that the upcoming advancements will be by two or more months? (Or do you think it might somehow slow down as the DoS begins to assume that it's given out too many visas or is closer to its yearly quota?)

I really dont think that there are alot of 2005s left I think it will move faster as it gets closer to the end of nvc's year because they would need to use up the remaining visa numbers before the new year. I also think that there would also be good movement at the first part of nvc's year.

That's what I see when I look in my crystal ball

u r right....i think there r still a lot visas left for this fiscal....They hav to use them before new year starts....so a big movement is possible...

Any particular reason you feel there aren't many 2005 cases left? Were most of them given visas when we had the advancements to 2006 before the retrogression?

Well definitely there r very lesss applicants in 2005 otherwise they havent moved so fast upto now...

I checkd Mumbai website for Interview schedule and found only 13 cases for F1...in d month of April

Assuming this way for all other countries....there must b less applicants upto now..so the total visas available r more as compared to qualified applicants

Hence it may move more in cumin months....
