Good luck today Kodiak!! smile.png

Thank you NevermindVz!

Medical appointment last week went well, nothing really to tell.

Embassy interview went well too. I was put under oath and asked for photographs with my petitioner and me, tax statements for 2012, new police records, and visas for previous entries to the US. I was also asked about my petitioner and how she became a resident in the first place.

It has been a long journey and a great pleasure/comfort to share it with the community in this forum, thank you everyone!

Hi,

one question:

after receiving the e-mail below from NVC, how many time to interview?

I checked https://ceac.state.gov/ceac/ and my case is still in NVC.

Shouldn't change status from NVC to anything else?

Dear Sir or Madam:

The National Visa Center has received all documentation necessary to complete pre-processing
of your case. As soon as an interview date has been scheduled, the applicant, petitioner
and attorney (if applicable) will be notified.

The applicant should NOT make any travel arrangements, sell property, or give up employment
until the US Embassy or Consulate General has issued a visa.

The US Embassy or Consulate General may require additional documentation at the time of
the interview. Additional documentation requirements if applicable can be referenced at
the following URL: http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3742.html

Sincerely,

Director

National Visa Center

haljbr ,why did you have not the interview yet if your PD is may 2006?

Well,

I think that main reason can be:

I sent my civil docs and affidavit of support after becoming my PD current.

They analized and ask for resend more docs twice.

So now seems to be all right cause I got the message I posted above.

Just wanted to know how long it takes for the interview after this email.
Thanks for your answer and good luck in your jorney
