Bulletin is out

15th November 2006

E. VISA AVAILABILITY IN THE COMING MONTHS

FAMILY-sponsored categories (potential monthly movement)

Worldwide dates:

F1: Three to five weeks

I'm glad it's predicted to keep moving - slow and steady is better than nothing.

Hopefully we will finally see 2007 in 1 or 2 bulletins!

One can only hope!

I must say, this forum has gone rather quiet of late. It seems 3/4 of our population had 06 PD's. If 06 was a bumper year for applications that could be good for upcoming visa allocations...especially as CIR seems to have died a quick death!

We're still around. I've been very busy lately. But I'm happy there's more movement happening. Yeah, it does seem like most of our crew were the 2006 crowd, and my money is on 2007 being in the next couple bulletins. I'm voting you as team leader!

I hope everyone is keeping in good spirits. My journey isn't over yet so I'll still share my updates with you. Tomorrow I pick up medical and my new police certificate. Then I'll have a weekend at the beach before my Monday morning interview.

I hope the ones who have their interviews will share their experiences with us. Good luck to us all!

@javisakid All the best with your interview on Monday.

Sounds like a Hellshire Beach weekend:thumbs:

I wish you all the best on Monday, and have a great beach weekend!!!!!!

Thanks my friends. I won't lie by saying I'm not nervous. But I'm just gonna relax, and let whatever happens happen the way it should. I will live tweet my interview for you all. :-)

But -- Oh no..... No phones allowed! Uh oh. My Jamaican buddies, how did you guys resolve the NO phones issue? Did you leave it with one of the people outside the embassy who offer to "keep it at a cost"? If so, how much was it? I'll need to call my taxi driver to pick me up again afterwards and I don't know how to sort that out. Help?!

So, this question is for the folks who have done their medicals and whose interviews have been approved:

On the Vaccination Document Worksheet which you got back from the medical, is it normal for the physician to check the box which says "Vaccine History Incomplete, and the applicant may be eligible for blanket waivers because vaccinations not medically appropriate (as indicated above)"?

I have all my vaccinations, but the physician checked Hep A, Hep B, Meningococcal and Pneumococcal as being Not Age Appropriate, whereas Tdap and Influenza were checked as Insufficient Time Interval. Both columns (Not Age Appropriate and Insufficient Time Interval) were under the part that said Blanket Waivers To Be Requested etc. etc.

SHOULD I BE WORRIED?!

in how many ways do they give the interview date? what i mean is that do they sent a hardcopy to your address or is it a call or is it an email?

From my knowledge of the process they send you the interview letter via email if they have your email address (as well as to the petitioner, once they have the email address). If not they send a hard copy to both the petitioner and the beneficiary's addresses. From what I understand they do not send it via both ways (email and hard copy) and they do not call.
