I'm feeling positive for some good movement for the December and then the January bulletins. I think we'll been seeing 2007 dates by the time the new year rolls around.

The courier registration is done online at https://usvisa-info.com. As far as I remember, for those of us whose cases have been completed with NVC before the requirement of the DS 260 form, we won't need to fill in the DS 260 form. We will just sign the second part of the DS 230 at the Embassy. I'll try to call NVC today just to confirm that and make sure that everything is okay. I'm way too busy packing and stuff today. I'm flying home in a couple days. :-)

I'm nervous and happy for myself and everyone. Don't forget to tell us about how your interview goes, armarm.

NVC says it's up to the individual embassy to decide whether the new form also needs to be filled out or not, so they suggest contacting the Embassy where I'll have my interview. I called, but they want me to email their immigrant visa section, so typing away....

We received the notification in email, The notification is a 6 pages PDF file contains the the scheduled interview date and a list of the documents required and status in the process.

Will the applicant also receive some hardcopy (package 3) notification through regualr mail at the address on file or electronic version is the only official notice?

Can you someone familar with the process help out?

Electronic notification is as good as the hard copy so Congratulations! Rather than focus on receiving the hard copy, Concentrate on preparing for your interview by scheduling your medicals, getting your police certificate etc. What is your Priority date?

Check your IL to see if you are required to fill out a new ds form. My IL didnt have it and as far as i can remember no one that i knew that went to interviews in the past year had to do so.

As far as a know the petitioner as well as benificiary gets a copy of the il at the same time via email I didnt receive any package in the mail. Congrats!! u guys need to get on scheduling medicals pics police cert etc now!!

Prioirty date is Nov 13, 2006. F1 seems moving fast now for the new fiscal year.
