Thanks for that, puppyluv. The first impression I got when I called Andrews to schedule my medical was politeness all around. Made me delighted. My medical is in two weeks. I just took my ten passport photos yesterday. Oh God, they're so cute!

LOL,so u sound a bit surprised by the pictures, what were you expecting?

@ f1junkie Well its about time!!!!! dancin5hr.gif

(for Jamaicans) guys I think for the medical Andrews Hosp was a pleasant experience.I chose them for a number of reasons 1. i called Med. Assoc. twice and got a different amount $$ each time (which made me weary) while Andrews was able to tell me right there and then $12,600 2. just from the mere answer of the phone at Andrews I knew I was in for quality service (polite and professional) 3.I was told it was an all day process (however first come first served) got there about 7:20am thinking i was early since registration starts at 9:00 but i had about 15persons ahead of me,everything was done i was out there by 1:15 and finally everyone there from the security to the doctors were all friendly.

I am told that with the other Hosp the docs still see there regular patients in between each US medical which makes it a longer waiting period.

what!!! 12Gs vs 30+gs!! ohmy.png .

Haha. I'm always terrified of these kinds of official photos, because if they go wrong, you end up stuck with them as your ID for ten years. But the photographer was chill and he showed me the photos to see if the shot was okay or if I wanted another go at it. Lol.

tomorrow med. test......can anyone give interview experience links please ??

From what I gather, it's blood tests, an X-ray, and physical exam. Vaccination shots if needed. You've probably done your medical by now, but if not, good luck!

I have packed my bags, booked my flight and I am ready to go. Thanks for the support guys!! :)

I'm really, genuinely happy for you. You have no idea. We've all shared in the ups and downs of the journey together that it feels like a brother who's finally going. I truly wish you all the very best.

I'm going to Jamaica next Sunday and my medical is on Monday. I now carry the torch of your journey.

What state will you be in? We should have a drink or link up to say hello.

Thanks guys :)

I must admit I was a little worried for a while but fortunately it came through. I will be landing in FL.

I just want to let you 06 and 07ers know that you don't have a lot of time left make sure you allocate the time and $$ so that you can sort out your med. etc like a ninja and avoid delays. As it relates to the new year I figure that US law men would be working on immigration reform. I am hoping that it would benefit our category and our future spouses smile.png.

Good luck all.
