I spoke to the operator and he explained that sept 2 2013 was a public Holliday and that I should call back mid week next week if I don't receive anything by then.

Thanks JaVisaKid and Nevermindvz.

September 2 was 10 days ago, and you had your interview an entire week before that. I strongly doubt that it has anything to with why your package isn't ready, especially since your case had already been given attention after that. The operator's job description is to get you off the phone as quickly as possible, with immaterial excuses that do not really solve your problem.

Compose a nicely written email, asserting that you completed your interview more than two weeks ago, and that you'd like to be given information about when your package is likely to become available for delivery or pickup.

I am seeing a status of READY having a status updated date of sept 4, 2013.

What did you see after doing your interview West?

I waited! Mine took 12 days. I was getting impatient, check the ceac.state.gov site and there it was stated issued and printed, before it had said ready for interview. I also kept checking https://usvisa-info.com/ to see if DHL got my package so it all depends on what location you registered. I still had to wait on DHL an extra day because my package had miss the flight. So just be patient, in no time you will get it.

Thanks West! you waited 12 days?! I thought that you got it in 2 days. Ok I feel much better now. Thanks a mill for your response.

Yes! Just let them do their job, they know what they are doing. When I had my interview and left, I thought the CO made a mistake because he had not ask me for the new affidavit of support and other stuff that they suggest I brought to the interview, then a week past and I didn't heard from them, I got worried but I waited and keep checking my email until I finally recieved a message from them that its been printed and waiting for DHL to picked up. Also printed on my visa was this "Upon endorsement serves as temporary I-551 evidencing permanent residence for 1 year" So it is now printed from your local embassy instead of it been stamp at your POE. Let me know if that is how yours is when you get it. Good luck!

So we're a little over halfway through the month. Let's hope there'll be news for us soon. Early letters this week maybe?

Puppyluv, how did your interview go?

Well my interviewer was not as" charming" as the others mentioned on this forum.

Let me first say this....the IL lists all the documents and next to each document is an alphabet/letter (which explains what action you need to take for the corresponding doc)

In my case after reviewing the list the only things I needed to take along with me were the Police Cert. and 2012 Tax doc (even prior to getting the IL I had decided not to get the non impediment $$$$,since no one else said it was taken from them).

Anyway,my interview began with me being asked for my mother's Birth Cert. then for her Naturalization Card so I informed him I did not have either,as it was not requested on the IL which stated

Petitioner Birth Cert- F (F means NVC did not request this form or document)

and no mention of Naturalization Card (which I was told by my mom is not something I should even have). As all the documents they needed from her was sent in order for the filing to be approved.

I dont think he was too happy that I had my papers there as proof,so he moved on to asking me what was the longest time I've stayed in the U.S.

I told him 2012 for 2 mths. After all that he asked me if I had registered with DHL and told me it will be await time of 10 days.

Oh by the way they took the Police Cert. and I was not asked for the most recent tax doc (how odd!!)
