NevermindVz, do you know any members in the Spanish forum with a PD close to mine?

It's so cool that your interview will be on the first day of the month. Means a much shorter wait.

Yeah, it's current, but not all applicants are interviewed at the same time. It's still based on their PD. It's a very curious situation, I think, that the F2B is not that far behind F1 anymore. I remember not very long ago even when F2B was 2 or 3 years behind our category, now it's only a few months behind us, and (for the last few months) has been moving much faster than ours on average.

I've never really paid much attention to the other categories so went to the Visa bulletin site to check this.

F2B is currently around 7 months behind F1.

I'm not sure if I'm just being thick, or am missing something...

F1 category has an allocation of 23,400 visas per year

F2B category has an allocation of 26,266 (23% of 114,200)

Why wouldn't petitions from USC receive the higher allocation of visa's?? huh2.gif

Can someone please tell me if I'm looking at this wrong as I'm starting to feel p'd off!!
