An Miguel, the NVC intern, nods his head slowly, crosses his fingers and whispers in a soft voice, "My friends are coming home soon!".

LOL!

What?! I thought the approval of the I130 was confirmation of the relationship between you and the petitioner??

Really sorry to hear this.

I am soo sorry to hear that you are experiencing delays but were there questions that you were not able to answer about the petitioner? Edited by f1junkie

No I didnt use or was asked for a job letter but in determining this just check with your country's US cinsulate

Consulate

Hi Grace A, the checklist I got did not have the job letter as a requirement, but I saw another checklist on NVC's site that listed a job letter as necessary for some applicants.

It is too late now to get a letter in time for the interview, so I will go without it and hope its not needed.

Do they ever take this long to send interview letters? was last month just out of the ordinary?

They usually start sending interview letters about 2 weeks before the bulletin is published. But they change this all the time. I remember that once or twice they sent the letters after the bulletin was published. And sometimes they send them about 3 weeks before it is published. Last time I think they sent them earlier than usual. In short, one never knows what to expect!

As Nevermindz said you never know what to expect from them. But I would not worry because ils have been sent on and after vb in the past. We have a little bit of waiting to do before the next visa bulletin and I am of the view that we are going to get 5+ weeks movements because it was stated in the last visa bulletin.
