Guys, also note this important part buried in section D:

"Readers should expect that some type of corrective action will be required at some point during FY-2014 in an effort to maintain number use within the applicable annual limits. Such action would involve the establishment and retrogression of such cut-off dates, and could occur at any time."

Uh oh! :-( There might be a retrogression, slow or no movement in FY-2014! These big jumps don't come without their consequences. Remember 2005/2006.

JaVisaKid there is nothing in this section that would imply that we would have retrogression in our category in the future.

These changes for the Family F2A, and India Employment Second preference categories reflect actions which have been taken based on current applicant demand patterns. Readers should expect that some type of corrective action will be required at some point during FY-2014 in an effort to maintain number use within the applicable annual limits. Such action would involve the establishment and retrogression of such cut-off dates, and could occur at any time.

Read section D very well and understand it.. What nvc is saying is dat there are large registered f2a cases but they do not take action to complete their cases, dats why f2a category is current. But being current wil prompt them to take actions to completing their cases resulting in huge demand again in f2a visa, thus a cut off date or retrogresion will have to be introduced in f2a only not others.. But i think their unused visa is wat at present is being given to F1 and F3;thus the high movement dat we saw!

That's the way I understand it too. The great news is that they predict F2A will be current for the next several months. Hopefully they will continue to pass down their unused visa's, so potentially more big jumps are coming up. Woohoo!

Wow guys, I am so happy to see that we have this huge jump. I pray that it continues, at least for a while so most of those who have their cases complete since 2010/2011 can have their interviews.

This is what I like about this site by the way, that we are able to predict the cut off dates by getting information from members. This site has been a huge help to me, without it I would be totally lost.

i was thinking the same thing as Javisakid, but then I kept thinking and it seems that paragraph refers only to those two particular categories, like F1junkie and Instinct07 said. Let´s hope for the best! Although I cannot help to feel a bit nervous about it.

Congrats everybody!

Still waiting for IL....

PD; July 31st, 2006

Category; F1

ClockWatch2.gifClockWatch2.gifClockWatch2.gifClockWatch2.gif

Me too, mine is July 24, 2006. I called NVC this week for my IL after the VB came out. The rep was very unhappy, saying the VB was for Aug, so I had to wait till Aug to inquiry them.

I'm wondering whether they have a favorite country list to send out IL? Looks like people in Jamaica got the IL earlier, or just because we have more Jamaica members in the forum? (Sorry if I'm wrong)
