Hi I was wondering if anyone can help me about the list of physicians in Canada who are authorized to do medicals for USA immigration. I live in edmonton and the list shows places in Montreal, Surrey and Toronto only. All these cities are VERY VERY far away. cAN ANYONE PLEASE tell me if there is a place in edmonton or calgary??? I hope there is -http://travel.state.gov/pdf/medical/MTL-MED-ENGL-0012-1304.pdf

Thats the site where they have the list of physicians avaliable for Montreal. Please help I would relly appreciate.

Hi Iven,

Unfortunately those are the only three doctors in the country that are authorized to do the exam. I live in BC and was lucky that there is a doctor in Surrey. Until 2 years ago there was only 1 doctor in Toronto....

Not much information on a lost passport that I can find, only expired pasport which is to be taken in with the new one. Maybe someone here can help who knows more about this topic.

I honestly haven't read the whole thread but congrats to those who got what they wanted and good luck those still in process or waiting.

I got a message from my dad. He told me he sent to the NVC a form called I 824. I read the estimated time for process is about 3 months.

He also told me about the medical visit I have to personally fund myself.

Question: How much in US dollars or Euros will it cost for one person?

You're in France, and according to documents on the department of state's website, your medical will be 200 euros. Start saving.

Need some help please! My daughter is a derivative of my petition but she has aged out. When I become LPR and file for her, exactly which category below will she fall under and how long will it take?

( F2b am I correct ) ? And will it take 7 yrs or can she retain her priority date of my petition?

Second: Spouses and Children, and Unmarried Sons and Daughters of Permanent Residents: 114,200, plus the number (if any) by which the worldwide family preference level exceeds 226,000, plus any unused first preference numbers:

A. (F2A) Spouses and Children of Permanent Residents: 77% of the overall second preference limitation, of which 75% are exempt from the per-country limit;

B. (F2B) Unmarried Sons and Daughters (21 years of age or older) of Permanent Residents: 23% of the overall second preference limitation.

Yes, she will be F2B but she will not be able to retain her priority date of you petition. You should consult with an attorney about this.
