I don't think that's what he meant. He means his interview was scheduled for June, but his priority date is April 22, 2006. It still is unclear how he's received a letter. No one else in any other categories in the other forums has received any new ILs, and it is very unlikely for the NVC to issue ILs for a new round, so shortly after the last batch, just to one person. It would be wonderful if he could upload us a copy.

Javisakid, I never said that is what lokoro means! I was just extending my hopefulness...as in my previous post with Westlink I said hope for June 1.... So please dont misunderstand me.... NEways I dont see why loko needs to put up evidence of his PD here either, I am sure he has been in the process long enough to know what his PD is.. Also remember that every country's embassy processing times are different...I was current from February or March and I did not get an interview scheduled until April... so there are a number of factors that need to be considered when ILs are sent out by NVC or the embassy....

So once again lets hope that the fact he got an IL and his pd is April 25, 2006... they will move at least 4 weeks instead of 3 for the next VB...

chiku83 it does look strange based on the recent trends but things change all the time. We have seen the cut off date retrogress in 2011 from feb 2006 to Jan 2005 then from Jan 2005 to 1 May 2004 and stop moving for for 6 months after that.

In recent times they have been consistent but it is not a guarantee that it will stay this way.

We have to have an open mind and allow time to clarify questions that we can't answer. smile.png

I agree f1junkie... keeping an open mind and being hopeful is the best way to go... Also this is something that has never been seen by this forum before, but we need to remember that a lot of embassies and consulates worldwide have different procedures etc.. we also have to take into account electronic and human error... no system or human is perfect and it could be an oversight in a system why the IL was sent with a date that is ahead of the cut-off date in the current VB.. Regardless of what it is... there is still a waiting period of 15 days or less to see who will be getting ILs.... Any which way Lokoro congrats and get all your documents prepared so on the day of your interview you will not be held up! West., I am sticking out the wait with ya and hope that there is some extra movement other than 3 weeks as the current trend...

Yes, in December 2010 the cut-off-date was (15, February 2006) I was a few months from being current. January 2011 it retrogress to (01, January 2005) Then in April 2011 it retrogress again to (01, may 2004)

My heart sunk! I have no idea how long it would take to get back to 2006, so I have been here waiting basically 2 years; i am not mentioning the months because I was not current like Grace but it was moving like 2-3 months per month at that time and I would have been current in 2 or so month. Now I am really glad this journey is coming to an end and I can get this behind me...

Also what is more painful is that my daughter has aged out and I didn't want to leave her behind, CSPA does not cover her anymore, her CSPA age is now 22yrs and a few months. She just got back her visa for Canada, so hopefully soon she can apply for her US one, so that is good!
