Congrats Tania and all the best! I wish your sister a safe journey to the US!

I have checked on my PD and it is just as I said. I have recieve my letter and it is for june 27th 2013 I have great hope that this year is going to be a good one.

It simply means that the next PD will be June something 2006.. So they are moving fast... I hope so for you my dear friends.. Congrats Loroko! Hope you are getting all the documents they have requested prepared!

Wow, I'm really (pleasantly) surprised. As F1Junkie states it is unusual for letters to start going out this early but perhaps NVC is making a concerted effort to speed thing up; maybe in anticipation of CIR going through?

Whatever the reason, I really hope it continues. Could be a good year for us all.

Baileys remember one of the clause on the new immigration reform is to CLEAR the BACK LOGS OF FAMILY BASED IMMIGRATION CLASSES... so I am sure that this added jump may be a feature starting to happen... Lets keep praying that there is a big jump, one that is big enough to let a number of months for 2006 go through but also enough to contain the visa numbers so there is NO MORE RETROGRESSION!!!

All the best my friends! Our watch and wait continues! West soon my friend!

I don't think that's what he meant. He means his interview was scheduled for June, but his priority date is April 22, 2006. It still is unclear how he's received a letter. No one else in any other categories in the other forums has received any new ILs, and it is very unlikely for the NVC to issue ILs for a new round, so shortly after the last batch, just to one person. It would be wonderful if he could upload us a copy.

loroko01, can you clear up this priority date problem....Members are convinced you had the receipt & PD mixed up....Do you have any proof otherwise that can verify your priority date and interview letter from NVC or your embassy? You have to understand that nothing like this has ever happened, so it is really shocking for everyone including myself, plus we haven't heard of anyone else getting IL's...Let us know please!

It all depends on the country's embassy Simj32, sometimes they have a lot of cases to clear up before they can schedule an interview, especially here in Jamaica. Did you saw how long it took Grace to get her IL? But your right, others and other categorys should be getting IL's too.

I agree....But that is not case and in History it never happened that they have sent IL in same month where PD is after cuttoff. date..So that is reason i told it is fishy....

chiku83 has a PD of April 28,2006. If he gets his IL before the expected issuing date then this would confirm that they have started Issuing ILs early.

chiku83 it does look strange based on the recent trends but things change all the time. We have seen the cut off date retrogress in 2011 from feb 2006 to Jan 2005 then from Jan 2005 to 1 May 2004 and stop moving for for 6 months after that.

In recent times they have been consistent but it is not a guarantee that it will stay this way.

We have to have an open mind and allow time to clarify questions that we can't answer. :)
