If it keep moving at this snail pace, I doubt that I will be current in July bulletin. August bulletin would be more like it or even September. I don't know!! (It is like the closer we reach, the further it's away)

I really want to see what the next visa bulletin is like. We really dont know what they have planned for the rest of the vb year.

Hello eveybody,

I signed up for my sister, my father filed the petition for her with priority date November 13, 2006 and her category is F1.

we later chose the electronic process in hope that it will be faster and smoother. But the electronic processing doesn't help anything in terms processing speed. Probablly added more work, as you have to scan it and email. The receipt for the email is also vague, it doesn't indicate how many and which attachement have been received and if the information is correct or not. Some of the forms I send 2 times.

Long story short. as the priority date is becoming current, I have few questions for experts here:

1. About when we will receive some notice to preprae all the documents and schedule interview?

2. Since the NVC process was done electronically, will the notice be sent electronically?

thanks in advance

Thank you and indeed its been like a virtual family.

I guess in few months it would be time to setup a signup sheet :)

I hope you and fellow F1 family get their IL's soon enough.

Just keep faith.

Hi welcome Ahzou99,

1. About when we will receive some notice to preprae all the documents and schedule interview?

a. You would get an interview date when the following is true:

* Your case is completed.

* You priority date is current.

* The visa bulletin currently is at 22 April 2006. People with priority dates that comes before or on that date are considered as being current.

Current people would tend to get their IL within the month of the most current visa bulletin.

2. Since the NVC process was done electronically, will the notice be sent electronically?

a. Yes
