Congratulations Essy_A!!

Could you please provide details of the interview in San Salvador. What questions were you asked? And what documents did you have to bring along?

I turned in the docs I had (DS 230 I and II, recent BC, recent PC, I-864, 2012 taxes) at the first window and she just confirmed the info on the DS 230 I. In my case since I've been living in the US with TPS I had to give them a copy of all my EAD cards, TPS applications, Receipts and approval notices. Then I was called a second time for the prints and lastly I was called for the interview. I was asked who was petitioning for me, when was I born, what does your mom do?, mom's address?, when did you come to El Salvador?, when did you first enter the U.S.? When did you obtained TPS? How old were you? when did you turn 18? and that was it.

Hi all,

My father who is my sponsor does not have any income and has not filed his tax returns. My brother is my joint sponsor and I used his tax returns when initially sending in the DS-230 almost a year ago. I will be taking the 2012 and 2011 returns from my brother to my interview next month but now I'm wondering if they will grill me about not having returns for my father. My brothers income is more than double what is required for his household size so that is not a problem. I'm just worried about having no returns for my father. Think this will be an issue?

When you get to the end of the road you start freaking out, waiting for something horrible to happen after waiting for so many years to finish this journey.

How accurate are their predictions usually?

I think we will also have a forecast of the expected movement from July to September at the end of this next bulletin.

Well not entirely accurate but a little better than us  Seems like there predictions go beyond sometimes and other times it's less.

Hello Aleksandaraca, You can pay the new fee after you are in the USA. You don't have to pay it now. I recommend that you after you enter the USA. When is your interview date?

Aleksandaraca you wouldn't be able to complete that payment because you have NOT done your Interview as yet! When you get your package fromthe embassy it will give youths instructions... If you pay it when you enter the USA please do so quickly so you can get ur green card without delay
