F1 case complete and waiting for visa # availability

HI Vini!

I had my interview today at sydney consulate about 10 am .

They asked to submit my medicals, pcc and current tax file from my parents.

they called me in the window and make to sign a form which is to declare that i wont get married before i enter US.

The second time in the window was the proper interview . The visa officer asked me very general questions regarding between me n my dad.

She asked me that she cant find my dads certificate of naturalization certificate and i decided to pop out of embassy and get my dad to email me and printed it and hand them.

After all that she said my visa is approved and will mail my passport within 5 business days.

Now just waiting for my packet to arrive and book the ticket.

GUys dont forget to bring self addressed envolpe, not sure all the consulate ask 4 it but in sydney IV u need to bring in ur visa interview.

All the Best 4 interview for the guys who got it this month. Get back to me if u got any questions. cnt wait to get my passport back and travel to US.

Thanks for the summary of the interview.

But makes one wonder why they told you they cant find the naturalisation certificate. I mean its the foundation for your appliciation.

I'm just guessing its part of their tactics to stress people out and see the reaction of applicants, making sure its not a forgery or something.

Or just that either NVC agent or even the consulate agent just misplaced it.

Hey Grace, sorry to hear they are keeping you waiting.

Remember I told you a while ago, it might be worth just going to the Embssy(if possile) to get this sorted.

Hope it works out for you soon. Be a bit more patient, in the end it will be alright.

Hi Grace, I think if you cannot get in touch with the embassy here or even get in the embassy to talk with someone, then you should call NVC as it is almost 3 months now since you are current. I know the embassy may running behind but still try and see if NVC can make contact for you. Really want to see you get through now. Its full time

West in January when I called NVC they toldmr that theyare unable to inform me about the case as they hve transferred everything to the US embassy in Jamaica and even hve me the contact information for Kng embassy. so it is just up to them here to do something... I think if I don't hear anything this week I am going to ask the lawyer to speak to them! Yea full time I get through now also I hopethey won't keep you waiting when it is your turn... Our situation is different hadn't we been processed already we would hve heard directly from NVC but I just dint understand why our embassy has to lag behind so much... And they get worst each time it seems I have sent 3 emails which are yet to be answered... But I will let u know how it goes just help me pray... It's not nice putting everything on hold for so long!!!! They are becoming inconsiderate now I think!!!

MAY i have a good news f2a moves till now 10 weeks (two months and half) while they predict three to five weeks monthly movement.. i feel a considerable jump in this bulletin cause they tend to move all or slow down all specially in f2a f2b and f1...maybe how knows..any update will be appreciated
