Hi Hura, welcome you. You have joined the most friendly and helpful community.

For your reference, my PD is 26 June 2006. I guess i will be current by August this year. Basically, there is an online tool that will give you an estimate when your PD will be current :

Hello everyone, Its been a long time since I have posted anything on this website. My priority date is May 2006. I live in Canada and I ca not WAIIIITTT to go and visit my family in United States. So it seems like that the next priority date is going to be April 01, 2006. So it seems like I got about 2 1/2 months of wait still. What do you guys think when is my priority date of May 18, 2006 is going to be current? And also I live in Canada and my interview is going to be in Montreal. Does anyone know how long it takes for Montreal embassy to schedule interview? I hope it doesnt take too long. I am so close and can not wait. Also I will be going to get my police clearence certificates soon. Please reply. I will really appreciate, And i hope we all get to visit our families very soon and get reunited with our loved ones. Take care everyone and hang in there.

I answered my own question. I just got my email from NVC!!! My interview is May 28. And for all those who have Montreal as their processing office, seems as though the wait is no longer 4-6 months. If I'm current in May that makes 4 week wait time.

Yaaaaaayyyyyy!!!!

Sending good vibes and prayers to everyone else who is waiting!

p.s. My PD is March 9, 2006

Oh so your priority date is March 09, 2006 so as of May you will be current. And your interview is going to be in May as well on May 28 so about 4 weeks wait and they scheduled your interview. So thats not tooo bad. I still hope this visa bulletin moves by 4 weeks atleast and next one by 6 weeks and then I will be current. My priority date is May 18, 2006 and my interview is also going to be in Montreal. I can not waiiiiittttt. Every day I talk to my parents and they ask me how much longer is the wait now. Oh god please make this visa bulletin move fast.

Thank you vn0207, It feels a bit strange but good, after all these years.

Time to dig out and prepare the last remaining paperwork now.

Congrats to all who received the IL.
