I have one Tax related question for you,

Did they tell you already in the IL to bring The sponsors Tax transcript or new set of Affidavit of Support Form (I-134) ?

No....they did not mentioned in I/L to bring new Tax returns But we must prepare for new tax returns from our sponser. 2011 year is good and if u have 2012 also its will be awesome. I would recommend all to take 2012 year also along with 2011. Even if u have 1040 and W2..its fine. I took 1040 and W2...and it was ok.

Regarding 1-134..its not required for us...its for Non Immigrants. We have to submit I-864. And yes..i also suggest all to get new I-864 form from petitioner mentioning 2012, 2011 & 2010 year as they may ask for it again. All depends upon CO.

Hello guys, happy spring

here is whatever happened before/during/after interview:

it was a short queue before embassy for security check, they refused me in as I had a piece of make-up in my hand bag! they asked me to dispose it far away from embassy sight!!!! ok, then back again in the queue!!

although this infortune warm welcome I managed to be in at 8:15 am while it written that my interview scheduled at 8:30 but don't believe that everybody gets in must be patient for at least 3 hours as the security officer advised!

sat for 1:30 until called for first document check, the officer just checked my file, I offered him I have a new police certificate, he said 'oh good' !!!! then replaced it by old one, and asked me for a new photo, the only question he asked: confirm your address. then I signed a paper and finger prints. he also asked me when I plan to travel to the US, I replied end of june, he said your visa will be expired 21 august, so before this date you should be in. any IDs you have- my English driving licence- no, my original national ID?-yes, I have also a new translate of my ID- no need, it is already in your file, we will back your original ID when we call you. he gave me a pink paper for delivery service and advised me be patient and while you are waiting for next call (real interview) fill this form, the form is all about your address.

another 2h waiting for next call:

1. Who is the petitioner- my mom

2. Where your petitioner lives, I mean what state- California

3. When did your petitioner move to the US- as soon as got her green card ermm 2005 or 2006... that's alright

4. does your petitioner work- no

5. When did you last see your mom - august until September 2012

6. any financial support documents- my sister is my supporter, here is her documents (tax.... etc.)..... oh well she did her homework well!

7. What are you doing here- study

8. what subject

9. when plan to travel States- end of June

10. are all documents written by best of your knowledge correct- yes

she gave me the result of my chest scan, and said you need it when you travel to state. in next 10 working days you will receive a package, don't open it as you need to hand in sealed once you get in the border, airport.

all done? yes have a good day!

payment for delivery done, I asked 10 days would be in in easter break! oh yes then 2 weeks should be waiting!

Very happy for you. Glad all is done and dusted.

Happy spring to you too, except it still is pretty cold and miserable weather here the last few days.

Yeah I do expect them to be super careful about what they allow in the building, so sorry about your make-up incident.

Luckily, I’m not gonna drive there, just take the tube, but seriously, what is their problem with car keys. What are people supposed to do, give the car keys to some stranger on the street and say , hey here is a gift for you?

I know from previous experience few years ago when I went to the US consulate in Sweden, they ask me to leave the key, phone,.. in a box with the security guard in their booth but here in London, I don’t know, ....

I just think they don’t let any kind of "transmitters" which car keys have have.

I’m just about to prepare my docs and hope that I along with many of our friends here get the IL as Easter present.

Regarding ur question abt DS-230 form, no i did not have to submit a new DS-230 form, although i took a new one just in case they ask for. They considered old one i sent in year 2010. I will suggest to all frds to keep every thing up to date and ready rather than getting a 221G form which would delay the case unnecessarily just for some docs. And Grace i would really pray God u get ur appointment soon at ur Embassy and come to US. Do ask me any questions u have doubt in....I will surely answer any query u have.

Yes...i will suggest u do get latest I-864 form updated as well as year 2012 tax returns, 1040 and W2. But also keep year 2011 year returns, they may ask for it.

Thanks for the update I will complete the forms again just in case ad my embassy had told me that I will be needing new ds230 thanks my friend and I agree with you better have everything!
