By the way.. Patientman and Superlongwaiting and Longawaiting.. You guys chose such representative names for this journey..! All the best... Have to have patience for this super long awaiting process! Smh! Happy that we have seen three weeks movement! All the best everyone!

 but as you know, the patience part is not easy or by choice.

One thing is for sure, if it wasnt for this group that go through the same (more or less) painful path and knowing one is not alone, it would have been even more frustrating and hopeless limbo situation. For ourselves and for our families.

Grace A, I must say kudos to you for your patience!

If I was you and if possible, I would have a made a personal trip to the consulate and ask them face to face about the case.

Either way, I hope you get your interview sorted soon.

BTW, Essy did receive the IL and appointment for April already.

F1junkie you can't call them... Nemore check their website and you will see that the immigrant visa section only lists an email address.. When I write to them they usually respond... I remember once wen I sent an email to the embassy the vb was dec 05 and they were processing October 05.. So I am just giving them more time... I have written them for an update on my case which is current so let's see how it goes with their response. Like Essy I am waiting...still smh sigh

nice to know ur ready Krishh! All the best!

West still hanging in there

What! What! ohh boy..... so even though the visa bulletin is saying that you are current our embassy is currently processing 2months in the back. This is not good at all :(

Well keep us posted and thanks for that info GraceA

Patientman thanks but I believe I was tested and tried because can u imagine being called in to do everything and gotten thru with everything that the embassy requested and then instead of being called to collect your visa you are informed that your case has been put on hold... for over 24 months... so my patience has been tested and tried and i guess its being tried again... I have sent them an email though again so lets hope that they will respond and if I dont get a response I will keep emailing them 2 more times then i call my lawyer..who is very very good... I think I will hear from them soon though...(yea I am saying it once again)...

And I completely agree with you.. I look forward to logging onto this forum so much and i am so happy when i see you guys getting through to be with your families...

F1Junkie, u know how we are at times.. remember when they called me in January the lady told me that I would most likely be scheduled for a March appointment.. I guess there is more people being processed in January why it is taking so long... Anyway I will continue to let you guys know the progress..

Hello, Does anyone knows if is possible to file a claim for those people (children) back in the early 90 when 18 years old was not considered underage and they reject them from the cases, so your parents couldn't claim you as a child anymore, if not as an adult. I bet there are a lot people in that category, they should have the records of all those people and give them the permanent green card when the new law changed stating that 21 was the new overage for children. Does anyone know when they changed the age from 18 to 21. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.
