Javisakid I don't think they will be jumping too much for the coming months... Almost 3 years of retrogression is a bit too much for them and they will do everything to avoid it... Well so I think... As long as they continue moving...:)

How much do you think will move VB next month? Do you think they stick to they prediction of 3 - 4 weeks?

My feeling is 4 weeks for this month (march 15) and 3 weeks for the following month.

So If/when you (march 1) get it, 3 weeks are secure but I really hope for atleast march 15.

My PD is end of March, and I noticed we dont have anybody in the 8-15 and 15-22 range for march.

Good luck to all of us.

Thanks Oli and the best of luck to you too my friend... I'm wondering if I should give them a call

Hi Grace, i have a good perception of you. I believe that you are gentle and tactful with your choice of words. Your follow up call with NVC will not cause them any negative feelings. Side by side, you are only taking positive actions for the sake of yourself and your family.

Take a deep breath before you call and smile when you speak with them.

May God be with you!

Based on what I know you can't simply call the US embassy in JA to ask about a certain case. They would somehow have to have a contact # for you and the only way for that to happen is to email the IV unit of the embassy (including said #) and pray that they think your query is important enough, something that can't be answered by reading any government websites or something that is in their capacity to answer for them to give you a call or reply with a personalized email.

What I think you should do is call the DOS and ask what is the status of your case. Or you can try by checking your online visa status at https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx?eQs=o/iS8zDpeAKjMWCuebHqOw==

It is a bit inaccurate/slow in updating info so still call DOS)

Since you're current your status should be saying 'Ready' as you are scheduled for an interview and your case is at your local USEM. However you haven't received packet 4 and it could mean that for some reason NVC has not forwarded your case to the embassy. If the latter is the case, calling or emailing the embassy won't help since the don't have your file.

So get an answer from DOS so you can know exatcly what you/yoir petitioner/choice of agent need to do.

Aaydrian thanks for the input but I'm a little different from the norm.. My case was backlogged... I was interviewed already and everything just to get the visa stamped then retrogression for over 24 months... Calling the DOS would not help me at this point theywill refer me back to the embassy in Ja.. The thing with the Jamaican embassy us that for the immigrants u can onlyemIl them and hope they will respond.. They usually respond to me so I wAs sort of waiting.. Like Oli said trying to be patient and not rush them u know giving them the 30 day period to see if I will be contacted.. But as Oli said patience is running out! So I am sending an email off to them right now!

Will let u know the outcome.. It's still not too late for them to send me the IL or give me a call with an appointment date..
