Hi krishh_gem, Good luck with the interview and the medical.

One question for you, has the "Clinic" doing the medical exam, asked for you to bring the police certificate along?

I'm asking this because I was checking the UK procedures and reading the medical exam part, they ask for police certificate with the passport or Drivers License.

Thank you for your support as well. I am soo happy for you and your family. I get so excited seeing our members get current and have successful interviews. being a fb-1 myself I know the sacrifices that are made by our families and to see it has now come to an end for you is really heart warming.

I wish you all the best in this new phase of your life.

I tried ceac.state.gov and still says '' procesing at NVC''. Hope visa bulletin moves 3 weeks so i can get my IL

I know you are feeling a bit high but eager. There is nothing to worry about. You only have to wait just around 2 more weeks and then you will come here and tell us all that you fnally got your IL.

Just sit back, relax and watch few good movies and soon enough, you will smile too. Or meanwhile try to get your new police certificate and other stuff that are need in order.

No, they dont ask for any Police Certificate for Medicals...they need only original passport, ur appointment letter and 3 photos.....

Police Certificate is needed from Passport Office during Interview at Consulate...

I think every country has its own process, so in UK they might be asking for Police Certificate for Medicals...

Even mine is showing the same...It simply means that our entire package is currently at NVC....after they will send our packages to Consulate and then Consulate will update case status...so, don't worry...

Hi PatientMan, yes you need police cert. issued by ACPO (ACRO) which is no more than 12 months last from its issue date, a uk passport size photo and ID and passport, a list of your vaccine records and a form that you must fill it.

still I don't understand why medical centre asks for police cert.!!!!!!!

I was asked and sent all documents to ACRO last Thursday, but rubbish royal mail as always had delay and my documents received Monday :/

another stress as I booked for medical examination on 28th..

Thanks Julie-MC,

I think im around 2 VB's away and was thinking of ordering the new Police Certificate sometimes around next month, so I can have it in time if I get (I hope) the IL by end of March.

I would not worry about the ACRO, they are pretty quick to send the Certificate back. Im saying this based on last time I ordered it almost 2.5 years ago. :)

Only liability as you said is the Royal mail.

You still have time and Im sure you will get it by end of next week. Just remember if there is chance that you wont get the PC in time you have to reschdule atleast 3-4 days before the appointment or they will charge you extra $$$.

Fingers crossed, all will go well.

Dont forget to share what happens.

BTW, when is the interview date?
