F1 case complete and waiting for visa # availability

I also check visa bulletin February 2013 predictions and they have 2013 -01-16 ........ Has krish said al category hasn't move either mabe monday we will see some move again, anyway still hopin for the best

May be we see some movement..but the question is why tamilyn hasn't received I/L..???? Coz if the Vietnamese guy received his I/L with 09 Jan PD....so if this is true the cutoff date will be 15 jan...One more thing is that it also depends upon one's embassy where the applicant will be interviewed...coz some embassies r too busy so they dont allocate interview dates even if the PD is current. Now, Jamaica i dont know how busy is that...but i think we should wait for official VB to get published.

Krish if NVC has sent off your documents to your country's embassy... It makes no sense you call them... The most they would say is that the documents are at the embassy and u can ask about when they think the PD will be current... So I think Tamilyn should just hold on... And keep checking

Grace A..if NVC has sent our docs to embassy in home country then definitely they must have scheduled an appointment for us and then only they will send our package to Home Embassy. So, if tamilyn asks NVC whether they has sent his docs to his home embassy they will atleast tell him that they have scheduled his interview on so..so..so.date at so...so...so..time...Atleast he can know the date of his Interview.

And, NVC sends our petition and supporting docs to Home Consulate only when they schedule an applicant's Interview for next month. For K1 cases only, they send the petition to applicants home country and the embassy schedules the applicant's Interview.

There is no point in calling NVC at this moment, because VB is not published yet and they will tell you that they are still processing December PDs.

Wait till VB is published and if you are within the priority date and you still haven't received the IL, then call them and ask about it.

Otherwise you there is absolutely no point in contacting them.

Yes do as Patient man says... Wait for the VB to be published and even when it is published and your IL letter does not come... Up to 30 days the say... Give them a call.. I remember last year the Jamaican Embassy when calle and asked whAt dates are being processed for interviews they said that they were doing the previous month vb dates... So it depends on how busy the individuals country embassy is... But persons have gotten ILs up to the day before VB is published so as I said just hold on...

Exactly ..what i was saying. But i also have one more question...Tamilyn should also ask his petitioner to check their email addressess whether they have received or not coz NVC must also have the petitioner's email address registered with their records. May be the petitioner should have received it....Its just a guess.

But i am still optimistic about 15 Jan 206 for Feb..

Now the answer to these posts is..."Everyone receives an email if u filled it in ds 230. They will also send a hard copy. We were scheduled on Jan 02, 2013 and got the mail in US post today stamped on the January 03,2013.

In F2A the PD has moved till 22 Oct 2010....and that is confirmed news.

So, Tamilyn still has hope ....they will also send hard copy at Petitioner's address....Just wait for next week and everything will be clear.
