Tamilyn..go thru this link....http://travel.state.gov/visa/bulletin/bulletin_5834.html

Atleast it continues to ove forward whatever it takes doesn't matter. We were expecting 1 month, instead we got 3 weeks. Thats not bad either. Ant it happened exactly what NVC predicted in Dec VB abt Visa numbers movement for F1 in upcoming months would be either 3 weeks or 4 weeks. And this is what they told us...3 weeks movement.

But one thing i noticed about every VB is that we r always 1 week back than F2A. If they move 5 weeks, we move 4 weeks.

Now also they moved 4 weeks and we 3 weeks. Almost in most of the Visa Bulletins published we were just 1 weeks back then F2A. Don't know why but this is what i observed. Now i think we all must forget Jan and think abt Feb VB. Now, i doubt that i would become current in Feb VB if it moves like this...3 weeks. I need 1 month movement to be current and looking at this trend, i think i will be current in March. Tamilyn u r almost there to be current in Feb even if it moves 3 weeks. Lets see what they do for Feb. Also, Christmas on the way they might go slowly due to lot of Holidays. Lets see what happens....Good luck for Feb VB guys...

We know that VB can be 8 or 15 or 22 or 1 of every month , so if next months moves 3 week it will go straight to 15 january. Anyhow we are so close now, so i hope in the next 3 months all january february and march will get IL. We ve been waiting for 7 years , so lets be positive.

Yes u r right...they publish 1, 8, 15 and 22 dates of every month. So 3 weeks movement will be 15 Jan and hence u will be current Tamilyn.

I am optimistic for 4 week movement for Feb VB...lets hope for the best guys.

Congratulations, guys from F1, we stepped into 2006!

I notice no one comment on this info which somehow did not materialize. I would like to know how did this person received IL with PD 25DEC2005 and the cutoff date for present visa bulletin is 22DEC2005? I'm lost here.

I think the guy who wrote it just confused your date or perhaps his situation is not typical

Indeed! It just shattered a lot of us hope but the fact that it is moving is consoling.

I think its good thats its moving atleast rather than being still...We expected 4 weeks but it was 3 week movement so we came short just 1 week. That doesn't matter i think. May be in coming months they move more i.e. 4-5 weeks or even 6 weeks i guess...But i think 3-4 weeks will be on an average movement in coming months.

Now lets see when do they start sending Interview letters for Feb VB../????
