F1 case complete and waiting for visa # availability

hello friends..... i am having my interview in december..... i just want to ask that is there any body who has visited US Embassy New delhi ... as i want to know that... is there any locker or any arrangement to deposit or mobile phone .. as mobile phones are not allowed ......i am gng to travel alone....so it might be a problem....please let me know about this if some body has recently visited US Embassy New delhi

In delhi Embassy, they will keep all your stuff like wallet, belt, mobile etc with themselves. If u take someone with u, he/she cnt even enter with you into the premises. They dnt allow other relative or frnd with an applicant. Everyone has to deal alone there, when u deposit ur belonging with them at security check at entry point they will issue a token or card for ur belonging which keeps under their custody for a while. When u done with an interview u can collect ur stuff at exit point. Its not that complicated, all u need to worry abt ur documents, recheck them all 10 times at least with the check list provided by VFS.

Best of luck for ur interview, it would be a piece of cake. You are goin for immigration interview not for non-immigrant one, its funny to see a long queue of non-immigrant section and very few on green windows of immigrant interview.

Please share ur experience when you will done with that ....

Yeah...if our PD is going to be current in Feb, then we would receive our I/L by Dec end and atmost 1st week of Jan '13. So, i would reccon u to start cheking ur mail box from last week of Dec. But maybe due to christmas they start earlier and if not then after Jan 1st.

Well...it seems that NVC is done with I/Ls and now we must move forward to discuss Feb VB.

Jan VB would be either 22 Dec or 01 Jan 2006....

I suppose he means that they usually send them out in batches, and that most of the batches would have been sent out by now. We can assume perhaps that many people got theirs early last week, but we have no more people in our form with December dates, so we can't truly verify.

I guess the maximum date is January 8, at the latest....though we still won't know till later down this week. The safest we can say is January 1, 2006.

Do you guys think that it's feasible that they'll move two months or even three as they did at some points last year? At the moment they're moving one month per month, or sometimes less per month. At that rate, we're all going to be current in our respective months, so I'm going to be current in October 2013. :-(

Yaa...u r right. And it seems by Fri 7th Dec they will publish Jan VB. As far as F1 movement is concerned 2 weeks are confirmed so now we must see how much more...either 22 Dec or 01 Jan will be for F1.

We are 4 guys with Jan PDs, so i think week before christmas we all must start checking our mail boxes. Who knows they must start before christmas. Best of Luck for Jan VB.

Good news , so that means they are still sending IL . So January 1st 2006 is confirmed. Lets hope for one or 2 more weeks. May be january 8 or 15

Congratulations, guys from F1, we stepped into 2006!

As i say Pchelula to u, u always bring good news for us and this time again u have brought Not Good but Awesome news for all of us. This means 1 month confirmed to Jan 01 2006 and yeah....we have entered year 2006. Now just to see 01 Jan or 08 Jan. Of course we cant say 15 Jan coz our frd Tanilyn with 12 Jan haven't yet received I/L. But we can say 01 Ja or else 08 Jan.....Again thanks to u Pchelula...and do continue to give us good news always....
