What we know so far: next bulletin will move 3-4 weeks. If it moves by three, the cutoff date will be 22 Dec 2005; if it moves by four, the cutoff date will be 31 Dec 2005. It could, based on history, move more than four weeks -- five or six weeks, even (since they've been moving very conservatively since the start of this fiscal year) -- and in that case, we could see a jump as far as 15 Jan 2006!

But, the bulletin has both surprised and disappointed us. (Would you say it's surprised us more than it's disappointed us?)

Let's keep our fingers and toes crossed.

Yaa..i know what u mean....Thats why i said it could be a miracle if i become current this month.

But i would like to say practically one point...

Generally in December last week all American offices are closed as most senior officers r on a holiday due to Christmas and this lasts till Jan 1st. So, let us assume that even if any body files a petition during this time , it can hardly be approved coz mostly officers are on a holiday. Even the offices are open after christmas but most of the staff i guess would be on a leave. so i assume guys with Priority dates between Dec 22 to Jan 2nd would be very less and this can be for all preference categories not only for F1...so i believe the PD may move more than a month i.e. 5-6 weeks maximum for F1 this time.

The only reason that F1 may move 3 weeks could be that only if there r too many filers from Dec 01st to Dec 22nd...But here on our VJ there r hardly 2 guys with Dec 1 and 2 PD and someone with 5 Dec in Spanish forum and few in Vietnamese forum...So i guess it may go upto 5 or maximum 6 weeks...But all this is just a calculation. I hope this becomes true..but lets see what happens...

With Visabulletin none of logic works...

As there is no such rule per month they should issue x no of visa, but for sure by end of year it should be more than 23000 visa should be issued

So they had chance to move at start of year but they didn't ..and now again with X'mas logic there is same thing why they cant move 2 months and why they will move 2 months??

Wait and watch.....

That's ok... So they probably will be at Jan 1, 2005.... So they will b interviewing the December 05s in Kanuary n then the January 06s in Febraury... But that depends on the number of Dec05 they have...if it's not alot they may go straight back to where the VB was before retrogression... Gosh I hope it ends soon!
