Well..so its clear now....F1 will move 1 month for Dec VB to Dec 01 2005...

Also, elections is over now as we know Obama is re-elected as US President...So i think all the storm is over now that affected our category's movement and i think from Jan 2013 VB would move even more i guess may be 6-8 weeks.....

I think we must concentrate abt Jan VB and our frds Interview experiences as we have 4 members in our thread with Dec Interviews....

Congrats to all four and specially 2005oct as u were very worried abt ur brother's I/L...Finally it arrived...

Now, we would be waiting for all ur's Interview Experiences....Best of Luck for ur Interview

Why not? Look at the last fiscal year, it happened there, everything's possible! Also, F1 used to move faster than F2A until 2005, which shows it's impossible to predict anything with immigration! We just need to have patience and remain positive

just received interview letter today, PD Nov16 :D

best of luck to you all

Congrats!!!

A little bit off topic... sorry for that....

How much do you think that a heart condition can affect this whole process?

It is nothing that is affecting my day by day life, it's under control... but still there is something there that will be mentioned in the medical file?

:(

I agree Nevermindz! we cannot predict visa bulletin! But with how its been moving I think we will go back to pre-retrogression dates in January 2013, so myself and my fellow JAN 06-ers will be getting our Interview letters for February.. the latest! But remember its just positive hope...:) but i can feel it deep down and I am loving the feeling...:)

I am so happy that you guys are finally getting to go to your families! Be safe and all the best for your interviews!

MariaC I hope that does not affect you. I am sorry I dont know much about situations like that apart from one of my mother's friend who got filed for but his son had Sickle cell Anaemia and the consular officer was adamant that unless they could prove that the child will be insured from the onset-on arrival in the US, they would not be able to give the child an immigrant visa. The dad got a lawyer immediately as they said it was ridiculous as you cannot secure health insurance like that and you are not even in the US yet and they won their case. The child had to have a different sponsor (the one who sign the AOS) for himself. I dont know how they will consider your case, i suggest u talk to an immigration lawyer (a real one).

MariaC. Don't worry your heart condition has no affect on your medical file or process the only thing that they are concern in medical history are Contagious Diseases like TB ,....

You are alright ;)

They are also interested in other diseases like SICKLE cell anemia, as to what i mentioned with my mother's friend case...

Here's a question - and it's just a crazy idea. If you're in the US on a tourist visa, while awaiting your PD to be current and awaiting interview at your consulate in your home country, is it possible to apply instead for an adjustment of status, or is that too late?

Priority Date: 10/5/2006

Interview Scheduled: 10/1/2013

Medical Completed: 11/4/2013

Interview Completed: 11/18/2013

CEAC Status -- Administrative Processing -- 11/19/2013

CEAC Status -- ISSUED -- 11/19/2013

VISA IN HAND -- 11/21/2013

POE -- 11/22/2013

This is just my opinion and it's always a good idea to consult with an attorney. It will be quicker if you could wait to have the interview at your home country to get a visa to US since you have done all the paper work. Once you get your visa and arrive to US. The only thing that you will need to do is waiting for your green card. However, if you want to do adjustment of status, you will have to start another process which require you to complete immigration application forms which is quite complicated when your PD is current then submit them to USCIS. Then you will have to wait until they contact you back with biometrics fingerprinting and later on for interview date appointments which the whole process can take from 4-6 months from the date that you submitted the applications. Hope this help!!

Hi Julie, I honestly have no idea what that means  You can try asking in the main forum and see if you get some replies from the experts.
