Guys..Now its confirmed that F1 would move 3 weeks...So lets move forward and think abt Dec VB instead of discussing how far more it would move for this month......

Here is the overall summary till now for all categories:

F1 - 3 weeks...to 1 Nov 2005

F2A - 6 weeks...15 July 2010

F2B - No movement

F3 - 1 week...to 1 June 2002

F4 - 1 week...

Except F1 & F2A rest r all very slow...But now looking at our F1 category we can assume that DOC is moving slowly slowly and Dec ..i thk we would see 6 week movement..i.e 15 Dec 2005

I think in Jan we could see Jan or Feb 2006....

Congrats Rovers! And Oct2005 for one of your brothers...

My father called NVC and they said something that there is nothing scheduled for me... but I'm affraid that my father didn't get this right....

he told me something that my case wasn't approved or current, he was not sure and I am not sure that he undestood correctly.

I'm sort of freaked out right now :bonk:

In the last e-mail I got from NVC in January 2010 they were writting:

"The NVC has received the information you submitted and placed it in your case file. You will be

contacted when your petition is sent to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate for further processing"

Please tell me that this is the correct message

Besides that, I understood that in fact the embassy or consulate is the one that it's making interview schedules and this is the reason why some nations received IL earlier than others... e.g. Vietnam seem to send IL before the others.

Anyway I lost hope of spending the hollidays with my family :( :'( I will have to be pleased if I'll be able to be there in the beginning 2013

Why do you predict a 6-week movement?

This is simply logical calculation ..nuthin else...

Now, This is first quarter of New Fiscal year..they have full 23,400 visas available for F1 Category...Now, in first quarter in First month they just moved 1 week, in second month 3 weeks ...so i assume in third month they would move more that 3 weeks...i.e.maybe 6 weeks...they r pacing slowly and slowly....it is not that in beginning of new fiscal they have a new quota ..so they would ride in 4th gear....they r slowing speeding...

Another reason is that, in last quarter of last fiscal i.e. July, Aug & Sep...u can see how they moved

For, July, 1 week

For Aug, 3 weeks and last month Sep they moved 2 months....

Thats why i feel they would move 6 weeks for Dec VB...May be more but i would go for 6 weeks....

Dont worry...if ur case is documentarily qualified than they will schedule ur Interview as soon as a visa no. is available for u...

One of my cousin in F3 category changed his email couple of month and and they replied him without asking that his case is complete and waiting for visa no. availability and placed in list of documentary qualified applicants...When a visa is available...they will schedule his interview....

Just wait and watch now...

Perhaps so. I wonder how realistic it is that we'll get back to pre-retrogression dates by the end of the year, January even. Either way we'll know for sure in a few days. I hope this time they add the outlook for the following months. They haven't included that in a while.

My under standing is NVC and consulate together schedule the appointment and during this time NVC sends the

actual documents to the embassy, hence the interview time is 1-2 months after notification.

If you dont receive the IL by monday, then for sure you will get it for next BB and most likely interview for early december. So Im sure you will make it there for christmas.

Its frustrating but have some faith.

Guys i think its.more than a 6 weeks movements for.november.....as whoever got d visa call in f1 they got early nov dates....but wat abt rest of d nov????

The people who have early scheduled dates might be among the first batch of interviewees at their respective embassies. But, if it moved beyond November 1, other folks here with a November 1 PD would have gotten their letters.
