NVC Error

Called last night to see if NVC has gotten our K-1 approval ... And I now know that they have received it because the operator started asking me the conformation questions. What is beneficiary's name? What is beneficiary's date of birth? I told them both but the operator said sorry that the birthdate that I supplied does not match what they have on record. She asked if I had a scan of passport. I told her that I did and I also have an original birth certificate for her, and both say the date that I supplied. She said that oh, we must have made a typo when we where entering the information into the system. She then said that unfortuately she cannot disclose any inforamtion about our case. She asked me to scan the passport, the birth cert, the USCIS approval and email to them so they can update our case, but can take up to 20 more processing days to update. She told me that our case would already be at the consulate by that time but they would forward the update to them. So basically she can't tell me anything, and I can't get the MNL# I need to pay the visa fee, schedule medical, and schedule the interview. Why can't we catch a break? Over 8 months wait at VSC and now this error at NVC? Soooo frustrated!!!
