It is over one month now and USCIS still didn't updated the case status and the initial review circle is also not blue, what it supposed to be ?

On March 30, 2011, your document I130, IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN was processed and mailed to the address on record. If you have not received it within 30 days of March 30, 2011, contact customer service at 1-800-375-5283. If you move while your case is pending, please call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

It looks like you just filed the i 130 so it will take a while to get to the approval stage...I think everyone here will tell you to use the next 4-5 months preparing for the NVC stage gathering documents and information to prove a relationship.

THe approval won't happen for antoher 4-5 months or so and USCIS doesnt always update the cases online for the public to see...so that won't be a sure thing to look at for you. For my own personal case they never updated until we got approval...I never even saw it online until then...

Just forget the USCIS buttons--they are 99% meaningless and will drive you crazy

From all I've read and people who I know that have gone through this, it takes at least 5mths to get an approval, my best friend filed for her husband in November of last year and only three weeks ago just received her approval. It's only been a little over a month for us too and I keep having to remind myself to stop checking the USCIS site so neurotically.

I have seen approvals from up to 4 months-6,7 months on here.

Disregard those blue buttons as another person has said. Subscribe to the case updates via e-mail and Text/SMS messages. Those are more helpful.

Please look at the responses above, expect to wait a couple of months until your petition is approved. Then your case moves on.

You can call and ask them or wait a week or so to get the letter... it doesnt sound like an approval mine said
