Hi everyone! It's our turn on Monday. Tomorrow I'm flying to Moscow to support my hubby. It's especially nerve-racking for us after unsuccessful K-1 case and almost 3 years of waiting. We've started the process back in 2008. Will get back to you with the news on Monday.

Cheers.

Oh no! sad.gif

I'm so sorry to hear that. Did you know about the ground of inadmissibility before the interview? I really hope that a waiver will be able to take care of it. Let us know if you need any help- I'm sure someone on VJ will know what to do in your situation.

please please please pray for us.. im really missing my husband badly ... :( we are submitting the documents and i put together the package :

Letter from attorney summarizing all child support issues and child responsibility issues clearly showing my son is of majority age per NC law and i do not claim him on taxes, i have waived that right to do so therefore excluding him from my household per the i 864 guidelines. Ex pays 100% of EVERYTHING FOR ALL CHILDREN... school supplies, clothing, college education, unexpected expenses, medical insurance and uncovered costs pertaining to all medical dental counseling etc.

He also summarized the child support payments clearly and the 401k which they thought was job related he is showing it is from QDRO that i have paid nothing into it but was awarded this in the divorce settlement.

I am including the following:

  • Attorney letter
  • page from divorce settlement saying who the children live with full time (3girls with me, son with ex)
  • My son's drivers license copy showing age, date of birth and address
  • my sons bank statement showing address
  • my apartment lease showing all tenants
  • pages from divorce showing where ex pays 100% of all costs, ex pays 100% college costs child support paid only to me and
  • letter from my bank saying they looked all the way back to the opening of my account and there is nothing going to my ex husband nor child for support
  • lastly the information showing that on the date of the divorce is signed by judge the QDRO will be given to me in the settlement, that it states it was from ex husbands job and that i am to be receipient of 50% of these stocks

Does this look good? I just want him on AP and nothing else :( i expected ap but im afraid i sent too much info about evthing instead of condensing...

please pray for us pls... i just want to hold my husbands hand again so many stupid little things i miss!!!!

Your husband is lucky to have you... you are on the case and doing a great job! We are all praying for you. Don't beat yourself up about sending in "too much" stuff initially... with so much that they could possibly question (in anyone's case), how were you to know which exact aspect they would focus on? Your evidence is really convincing and you should be back on the "just normal AP" track soon. They kept his passport, which is definitely a good thing.

I'm also excited / freaking out! We've had a rough week in June interviews, so I hope we can turn things around. My husband's interview is at 1PM in France, so ours are pretty close in time... we can be each other's good luck charms. smile.gif

Also slightly worried because June 21st is the Fête de la Musique in France, which could make getting in and out of / around Paris pretty annoying for my husband. But I guess he'll survive!

You know, I actually have no idea. I just called yours "AR" because calibob came first and called it that... but I was unsure whether yours should be "AP" instead? It might be that when there is AR there is something in particular that they are reviewing, while AP is more general (and like you say, simply a given in some countries). If someone knows if there is a difference, I would be interested to hear!
