We've made it through NVC... I called on Tuesday and was told to call back in the 2nd week of May because that's the only time the NVC schedules appointments. Since I was well aware about this statement being erroneous based on other VJers experiences, i called back yesterday and was told the same exact thing by an other operator.

I called again this morning and got a male operator who informed me that my husband has been scheduled for June 1st at the embassy in Cotonou (Benin) :dance::dance::dance::dance: . Praise be to God for his blessings and grace and thanks to everyone here at VJ who shared their experiences which help us make this journey so much smoother tham we ever imagined.

How is your preparation going?

I am sending him the copies of USCIS and NVC packages as well as all our chat logs, call logs, photos, greetings cards, and emails for the past two years and he is putting the same list together on his side. So far we have about 5,000 pages of chat, emails.

I think this is an extensive list and should get us to prove that we have an ongoing relationship.
