So in our incredible excitment about finding out that our case was received by the embassy... we emailed forms DS2100 and DS 230 IMMEDIATELY...without double checking them. :bonk: We left out his parents birthdays and I spelled his dad's middle name Franciso instead of Francisco.

Is this a big deal? Should I do anything? It says not to send mutliple copies or it could delay processing but it also says forms missing information will delay processing...

Anyone else made a silly mistake like this? Advice, anyone?? :help:

Should not be a big deal and if you are missing anything they will send you a RFE you need to wait till then and any spelling can be fixed at interview . It will be ok.

Don't know if they do that in Colombia, but in Germany they went over all the papers with me at the Interview, and asked if I had to make some changes... so if you don't here anything from them, take a corrected form with you to the Interview, and tell them that you did those 2 errors... no reason to freak. If you do can't wait until then, just send them an email, or mail the correct forms with a note.

Good Luck!

My wife missed a single week of residence since age 16 and it cost us an RFE and 4 months (see our timeline). Colombia isn't Australia or Germany, it's considered a fraud country but not as high as many others. I would expect an RFE but respon quickly (sounds like you already know the errors) and be ready to send in the papers next-day-air.

May love and laughter light your days,
and warm your heart and home.
May good and faithful friends be yours,
wherever you may roam.
May peace and plenty bless your world
with joy that long endures.
May all life's passing seasons
bring the best to you and yours!
