ok, with my father makes more then enough money to sponsor my wife and with me on SSDI "Social Security Disability" do I have to fill out a i-864, i-864A or i-864EZ also?

I am the petitioner for my wife but I don't make enough money to sponsor her right now. I am living with my father who makes more then enough money to sponsor her on his own

without me helping at all. I just don't know If my father can fill out the one i-864 by itself with his supporting documents as the "only joint sponsor" without me doing anything?

PLEASE HELP!

you are the petitioner and main sponsor, even though you do not make enough money to sponsor your wife, you still need to file the I-864 and your father will be the joint sponsor and file the I-864 too

good luck!

ok, I got it now. Thank you very much!

If you live with your father, he can fill out the I-864A to combine his income with yours too. But yes, you still have to fill out the I-864 yourself as well.

Is that better to have my father fill out the i-864A instead? He can't fill out both so what one looks better then the other to USCIS?

I do not know that one form 'looks better' to the USCIS or not. They are just 2 different ways to go. Since you live with him, you have the option. The I-864A allows you to combine your income with his to cover the 125% above poverty level. With the I-864, he would show he can cover himself, all his dependents and your wife all by himself. Which form you decide to go with is up to you, and your father.

If Dad is the head of his household then him doing an I-864 is "cleaner" than an 864A.
