I was thinking of calling the USCIS today but my fiance said no we will call tomorrow. I just checked my email from USCIS saying that my case has been approved. I had to rub my eyes and read it again and again. I went back to USCIS website to checked my case status. Thank you lord they really approved my case. I try to call my fiance but he's sleeping cuz just finished night shift. Its 10.30pm in the uk OMG not sure if I can sleep tonight.

(I've just known this feeling since I got approved)

May 17, 2011 - NOA 2 (Mail)

May 28, 2011 - Got case number after 2 weeks of waiting

May 30-31, 2011 - 2-day Medical at SLMEC (without the NVC letter, just the MCN)

July 01, 2011 - Interview (APPROVED despite delayed documents!)

July 14, 2011 - Picked up visa from 2Go Main

July 15, 2011 - Bought one-way ticket for first time immigrant (rate)

July 18, 2011 - CFO at SMEF-COW

July 31, 2011 - Flight to the US! (Finally!)

Getting that approval after such a long wait is such a wonderful feeling. I remember when I got ours, I immediately called Mari with my heart pounding out of my chest. CONGRATULATIONS.. Good luck with the rest of the process.

Recieved a text message at 8:47 tonight...Very vague, said case had been updated. Scared the ###### out of me hahaha. Went to website and there it was "On April 27, 2011, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice."

Checked e-mail and there it was again...had to see it twice to believe it I guess.

Called my Fiancee in the Philippines...Whole house exploded with excitement...Did the Skype thing too...tears and laughter!!
