Okay, so I was first in first out.

They overlooked my missed appointment date of April 14th.

the office opened at 8AM and I was about by 8:20 not bad!!!

So for those of you who have missed an appointment, you can try your luck to walk into the service center with your letter, ID and PR card, and just hope that they will let you thru.

With my experience so far, I got there nice and early, even with people sitting in their cars, I waited first in line to be sure to be served first - which I was.

I went to the San Antonio service center on Randolph blvd.

when should I get a response from here on out? give it a month or two for the approval letter?

Hey, just wanted to drop by and wish you a good luck!

From your filing date, it can take anywhere between 50-60 days for your EAD/AP to be approved and your AOS can take about 4-5 months depending on the Service center it is being processed at!

My case was transferred to CSC and it 4 months for my AOS, without an interview!

Good luck!

Hi jons_wifey,

Glad it worked out for you. In terms of response of approval, I think March filers at VSC have quite a bit of wait ahead of them. Currently, I am seeing November filers at VSC getting their approvals.

I'm just glad I got the biometrics out of the way.. Is there still a chance of receiving an RFE anyway AFTER you have done your biometrics?

I apologize for misunderstanding your post!

YES, there is a chance of getting an RFE after the biometrics but it doesn't happen that often!

Good luck to you!

P.S. - I think I got you confused with someone else; her is was jonswifey without the (_)! I checked her profile, she now goes by British_cupcake!

There might be a chance that I am still confused! Apologies in advance!

Really, I thought you normally get RFE after the biometrics, not before.

RFE's are usually not subject to any time intervals! I mean if your case is looked up by a rep and if he/she feels that something more is needed to proceed, they will issue an RFE! I mean we all know nothing is certain when it comes to the immigration system!

So, RFE's can be produced at any time, be it before or after the bio-metrics!

Hope this helps!
