Does anyone have any experience with the US Embassy in Riyadh,Saudi Arabia. Is there anyone who was placed under Administrative Processing in the Saudi Arabia US embassy. If you were how long did it take. I will really appreciate if someone could share their experience.

I don't have any experience with Administrative Processing, but as I am relatively new to this process (67 days since receiving my NOA1), I am curious about this "Administrative Processing". Do you receive a notice in the mail, or...?

I was stuck in AP at US embassy in Riyadh back in 2009 for about a month. They kept my passport and returned it after stamping my H-1B visa in 30 days or so. This time I am stuck in AP for my CR1 visa at the US embassy in Bahrain and they have returned my passport. Just about 7 weeks now and so far no good news. This is the same embassy where I got my F-1 visa back in 1998. Back in those days there was no such thing as AP and we all know why they have it now but anyways all we can do is wait and pray, inshallah everything will be alright and be for the better..... :D
