How so? Was this issue coming up in Congress? Were White House staffers talking about this rather than their day-to-day business?

Last I checked, Donald Trump is not a part of the government- he's just a part of TV. Obama should stop governing based on polls and what television keeps spewing out.

What next? Is he actually going to commission a full on investigation into the events of 9/11 to try to satisfy that group?

Stupid thing is that he actually did the Republicans a favor. Now perhaps, just perhaps, Donald Trump will go away and the Republicans will get a more realistic candidate to take over the party favor. I was half way hoping he would just keep it rolled up in his coat pocket and wait for the Presidential Debates and shove it in Trump's face if it came to that.

Proof Obama is a wuss. Thank you Donald Trump.

Well then I think its safe to say Obama is a little slow on the return because it has been a distraction for some time now.

Actually I find it amusing. I have said from the get go that this was a publicity stunt. I wouldnt be surprised at all if he never even believed the birther nonsense.
