I am so jealous of these cheap flights you've all found. I tried booking through STA, found a flight for 450, but they wouldn't accept a baby in the "deal" they offered :(

Don't feel bad... Mine wasn't a cheap flight.

Anyone else doing this - I reccommend NOT having a summer wedding :P At the time Katie and I were planning the wedding we thought September 2011 was SOOOO FAR AWAY and we didn't want to wait any longer. But now it's nearly upon us and I've had to pay nearly double the cost of a flight in September, for a flight in late July, I wish I would've waited.

Ho hum! :)

David.

An extra 10,000 miles with AA cost me $275, I think - that took me to 33,000 miles, and the flight uses 30,000 of them.

Are they all on the same airline? If so, then you should be able to choose to use air miles from the airline's own booking website - for instance, on AA, when I go to book a flight at www.aa.com, it gives me the option of return, one-way or redeem AAdvantage miles.

On most airline airmiles systems you can also transfer miles between people, I think.

Of course, by the time I get visa approval, it will all be for nought as the qualifying miles will've shot back up to 60,000 laughing.gif

i hear ya! yeah all on the same airline. the cheapest from heathrow to here was 90,000 plus like 300 in taxes and fees. not sure how much that is

We got an earlier appointment by calling and asking, they said no, you can only get it by email, but no one ever emails, so we did and they cut a week off of our time. You have to call them and ask for the email address though. You also need a reason that passes muster. Can't tell you what to put there.
