I'm starting to get worried, here. It seems like people are getting their packet 4/notice of interview within just a couple of weeks of the embassy receiving all the information, and it's been a while since they got ours. Of course, we DID have a huge delay because the Knightsbridge people thought they found a tumor on Fraser's neck, but really, it turned out to be a malfunction with the x-ray machine. So there went a good 3 weeks of time...

Fraser: @StreetSpiritPic

Heather: @BaronessHeather

2010-08-13: I-129F Sent

2010-08-23: I-129F NOA1

2011-01-31: I-129F NOA2

2011-03-16: Medical appointment

2011-03-16: Medical office calls Fraser right after arriving back home in Glasgow to say there's a giant tumor showing in his x-ray and he has to have another one done. Terror ensues. He makes an appointment with his GP, who tells him he needs an ultrasound, but they don't do that there. Fraser ends up getting the ultrasound and new x-ray done at a private clinic, costing hundreds, all to find out there was never any tumor and he's in perfect health. Updated ultrasound and x-ray results sent to medical office.

2011-04-08: Packet 3 Sent

2011-04-08 - 2011-05-09: Half of Packet 3 is lost. We are not notified of this until Fraser calls & emails embassy several times until finally getting a reply specifically stating which papers "have not been received."

2011-05-10: Packet 3 Sent Again

2011-06-05: Fraser emails embassy to ask if his interview date has been set

2011-06-06: Email from embassy stating that a letter had been sent & interview is 6/13.

2011-06-09: Interview letter arrives (Good thing he emailed!)

2011-06-13: Interview: APPROVED!

Have you tried calling DOS lately for an update?

(And oh my goodness - a tumor vs an x-ray malfunction... wow! That's a big difference!!)

[Edited because my silly computer double-posted]

As much as it stinks to pay $16 for a phone call, it was the best $16 i spent on this whole process. I called and asked why it was taking so long to get a date, he asked when they logged our packet 3 and when his medical was, and he said oh that is a long time and gave me the code to email the embassy, and i had an interview date within a few hours.

Good luck!!!!!

We're in a similar position

They've had our packet 3 forms for 8 days, and the medical stuff for about 2 and have logged the medical stuff today, but not the rest yet. But from what I've heard they might not do the other until after they recieve you medical details, but i think that only applies to K1's
